The Viking Village is a community-based organization that is intended to promote interest and assist in the financial support of BBCC athletics. The college's Director of Athletics serves as the official liaison between BBCC and the Viking Village. Revenues for the Viking Village come from various department and sport activities throughout the year. The Viking Village shall comply with college policy in regard to all fundraising activities. All requests for Viking Village assistance will be made through the Director of Athletics.

The purpose of the organization shall be to assist the coaches and the Director of Athletics in encouraging the growth and development of athletics at BBCC, stimulate and promote community interest and support of the college and its athletic events, and assist in providing financial support to deserving student-athletes.

10% of all monetary donations will benefit student-athlete academic scholarship opportunities. All donations are tax-deductible. For more information, click here.

Additionally, Viking Village sponsors the Viking Grill, which operates Monday through Thursday out of the concession stand in the 2000 building on the BBCC campus. The Viking Grill serves as an inexpensive, short-order lunch option for all hungry students, operating under the mantra "Whoever needs, come and eat."
