The Lady Vikes volleyball program opened up their 2023 conference schedule at the Devries Activity Center on September 7th versus the Blue Mountain Community College Timberwolves.
After a brief preseason, the Lady Vikes hoped to start off on the right foot but were on the losing end of an extremely competitive match. All sets were decided by six points or less. Even with a valiant effort on behalf of the Lady Vikes, the Timberwolves were able to take three straight sets by scores of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-19. Although the score did not favor BBCC, the Lady Vikes appeared to take steps in the right direction. Casey White set a season high in kills approaching double digits with nine along with five other Lady Vikes contributing multiple kills, while Emma Lucas also set a season high in assists with 16.
BBCC volleyball prepares for a quick turnaround as they host Wenatchee Valley College and Spokane Falls Community College on Friday September 8th at the Devries Activity Center at 10:00am veruses the Knights and 2:00pm versus the Sasquatch. Come out and support Viking Volleyball!
