The Lady Vikes Volleyball team opened up their 2022-23 conference schedule on Wednesday September 7th on the road versus the Yakima Valley Yaks. The first set was a back and forth battle, but YVCC was able to pull away and defeat the Lady Vikes by a score of 25-20. Set one seemed to take the wind out of the sails of BBCC as they fell in the following two sets by scores of 25-13 and 25-8 completing a 3-0 sweep for the Yaks.
BBCC was led by Jordyn Adams with 6 kills and 8 digs, along with Nayelie Alvarez chipping in with 4 kills and 5 digs, while Myah Gallinger was the defensive standout collecting a team high 13 digs.
The Lady Vikes prepared for their home opener on Wednesday September 14th as they host the Blue Mountain Community College Timberwolves at the Devries Activity Center.
