The Lady Vikes Softball team took on the Spokane Falls Sasquatch on Tuesday April 5th in Spokane, WA.
Game one of the double header was one for the books. A back and forth battle where the Lady Vikes scratched across a run in the top of the 7th inning to force extras. Addison Martin threw all nine required innings to complete a game one victory by a score of 7-4. BBCC's one through four hitters combined for 10 of the 13 hits collected by the Lady Vikes with Truh Merriman and Gates Leatherwood both collecting 3 hits, each scoring a run and both driving in 2, while Britney Brklacich chipped in with 2 hits and one RBI along with Marleigh Horrocks adding two hits including a solo home run and scoring 3 times.
Game two was also one led by BBCC pitching. Oriana Vasquez was handed the ball for game two looking to complete the road sweep and did just that. Throwing a complete game while only allowing 2 runs made it easy for the BBCC offense to take care of business. Truh Merriman and Gates Leatherwood led the way once again with two hits a piece while combining for four RBI's and three runs led the Lady Vikes to a victory by a score of 7-2 completing a sweep versus the Squatch.
