Runnin' Vikes Roll Timberwolves

Coming off of a tough single digit loss to SFCC the previous weekend, the Runnin' Vikes looked to get back on track as they took on the Blue Mountain Community College Timberwolves on Saturday January 29th at the Devries Activity Center. The first half was a back and forth battle with the Vikes leading by a score of 37-36 at the half way mark of the contest. BBCC was able to shift gears in the second half and take a double digit victory by a score of 82-71. Led by Keenan Miller with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists along with Ammon Brown chipping in with 15 points, 8 rebounds and a team high 6 steals. With stellar performances from a number of Vikings none shone as bright as DJ Frye putting together a monster night recording his second consecutive double double posting 16 points and a season high 16 rebounds.

The Runnin' Vikes head to North Idaho on Wednesday February 2nd followed by a home game versus the Spokane Falls Sasquatch on Saturday February 5th.
