BBCC Baseball has been searching for answers in regards to thier offensive production. In a lengthy slump, the lack of offense has been the story to the Vikings struggles.

The Vikes traveled to Pasco, WA to take on the Columbia Basin Hawks hoping to spark something as the season continues to progress. Hunter Gibson got the start in game one and threw 7 innings of 4 run baseball with the Hawks collecting all four runs with two outs. Heath Hachkowski and Kalia Agustin each collected 2 hits but a lack of timely hitting was the difference maker with BBCC falling in a game one by a score of 4-2.

Game two rolled around and the Vikes offense was no where to be found. Only collecting one hit throughout the course of the game put a lot of pressure on BBCC pitching. Tim Williams was able to keep the game tight until a costly defensive miscue at 3rd base resulted in a big inning putting the Vikes down 7-0 which would hold through the remainder of the game.

BBCC will host the Hawks at home on Saturday April 15th for a double header at 1:00 and 4:00
