Sasquatch Sweep BBCC Baseball

Still looking for all aspects of their game to click BBCC took on the top team in the Eastern Region to wrap up a four game set.

Hayden Schooler took the bump in game one and grinded through 4 innings allowing six unearned runs due to defensive miscues. With numerous mistakes piling up on the defensive side of the ball for the Vikes, the offense faced an uphill battle. The Vikes were able to accumulate 10 hits resulting in 5 runs, with Kalia Agustin leading the way going 3-4 with two RBI's along with Jett Nelson and Parker Plato adding in two hits a piece. Errors were the difference maker with BBCC losing by a score of 10-5 after surrendering 6 unearned runs.

Game two got off to a rocky start with Austin McQuilliams getting the start and struggling to find the strike zone. After a lengthy first inning, BBCC faced a 4 run deficit. BBCC pitching would be able to stop the bleeding, only giving up one more run the remainder of the game, but the 4 spot in the first would be enough for the Sasquatch. The Vikes offense was only able to collect 3 hits over the course of game two closing the book on the four game set versus Spokane Falls with a 5-1 loss in game four.

BBCC prepares to take on Columbia Basin College on Wednesday in Pasco, WA, followed by hosting a double header on Saturday April 15th.
