Bio

Dr. Brett DeGooyer, DO, is a sports medicine doctor on Samaritan Healthcare’s orthopaedic care team. Dr. DeGooyer promotes an active approach to healing and physical conditioning. He is fellowship trained in sports medicine and he has a wide range of professional experience. He holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Colorado Mesa University as well as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences.

As a result of his accomplishments and contributions to the field of sports medicine, Dr. DeGooyer was named a Fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine (AOASM) and was elected to the AOASM’s board of directors for a three-year term. Dr. DeGooyer is also fluent in Spanish, which allows him to connect and communicate with patients at the best of levels.
