Viking Athletics To Partner With Worldwide Streaming Platform Spiideo

Big Bend Community College Athletics recently announced a partnership with worldwide streaming platform Spiideo to provide cutting edge livestream services for all Viking sports.

"As our athletic programs have progressed, just over the last couple years here, it quickly became apparent that our livestream of campus athletic contests was lacking," stated Director of Athletics John Meeks. "Beyond the desire to promote our programs across various geographic and athletic landscapes, we are focused on providing our parents and fans of our current student-athletes the opportunity to view contests in a setting as close to in-person as feasibly possible."

Big Bend offers opportunities in seven sports, and each respective athletic facility will be upgraded with top-of-the-line Spiideo cameras, operating via unmatched AI technology. Livestreams in all sports will feature a minimum of three camera angles, offering a viewing experience like those of NCAA Power Five programs and professional teams. Additionally, coaches will be able to access and edit game film in real time, fans will have the opportunity to download games for on-demand viewing as well as for highlight purposes, and applicable sports will now offer instant-replay capabilities for officials.
