Bio

Dave Herrud is in his first season as Assistant Women's Basketball Coach for the Lady Vikings, working primarily with interior players this season.
 
Dave spent much of his working career as a math teacher in the Othello school district. While at Othello, he was the girl's head basketball coach from 1999-2000 and then the boy's head basketball coach from 2012-2015. He also spent time as the boy's JV and Varsity coach at Royal High School from 1987-1994. Dave played basketball at Royal High School where he was an outstanding player and helped lead his team to a 2nd place finish in the 1976 Washington state tournament during his senior season.
 
Dave resides in Moses Lake with his wife, Carolyn. They have four children and twelve grandchildren. Dave's oldest daughter Jerica played basketball at BBCC and was a member of the 2003 Lady Viking squad that finished 2nd in the NWAC Tournament.
