Intercollegiate athletic programs at BBCC will be conducted in a way ensuring that the physical welfare and safety of the participants are protected and fostered. Grants-in-aid or participation in intercollegiate athletics will not be awarded nor denied any student-athlete because of race, ethnicity, creed, color, national origin, sex, marital status, age, religion or disability. Furthermore, our culture will create equitable participation for student-athletes and career opportunities for coaches and administrators from diverse backgrounds.

Additionally, the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act requires co-educational institutions of postsecondary education that participate in a Title IV, federal student financial assistance program, and have an intercollegiate athletic program, to prepare an annual report to the Department of Education on athletic participation, staffing, and revenues and expenses, by men's and women's teams.
