Ponce Commits to Washington State University

Vikings Baseball has their second division 1 signee with Brandham Ponce committing to take his talents to Washington State University in Pullman, WA. 

 

In his first year as a Vike, Ponce made an immediate impact. The switch hitter put together a remarkable season hitting .354 with 3 home runs, 9 double and 25 RBI's over 28 games which earned him an All-Conference award as well as being named an All-American. A versatile defender who primarily locks down the hot corner at 3rd base, managed a .922 fielding percentage with only 4 errors. Ponce also saw time in the outfield along with collecting 7 2/3 innings on the mound with a 2.35 ERA.
