Going into the contest short handed due to Covid-19 related protocols, the Lady Vikes had their work cut out for them. With only 6 players able to compete, heavy minutes were inevitable. A hard fought battle where the Lady Vikes fought hard until the end but came up short by a score of 72-65. Led by Callie Tolman who was on the floor for 38 of the 40 minutes and collected 20 points on 8-16 shooting along with 6 rebounds and 3 assists, Camy Balderree chipped in with a bakers dozen and added 3 rebounds while Gracie Rigby scored 12 points and collected 6 rounds.
Hoping for better health this week, the Lady Vikes head to North Idaho on Wednesday February 2nd followed by their first home game of February as they take on the Spokane Falls Sasquatch on the 5th at the Devries Activity Center.
