The Lady Vikes began their week by traveling to Pasco, WA to take on the Columbia Basin College Hawks on Tuesday April 26th. An already tough Hawks team came to play making it difficult for the Lady Vikes. Game one was a solid offensive showing for the Vikings scratching across 7 runs with seven of the nine starters collecting hits led by Britney Brklacich with a solo home run and scoring 2 runs but this was not enough to keep up with the high powered Hawks offense who exploded for 15 runs resulting in a 15-7 loss for BBCC.

Game two was a roller coaster for both teams as the Hawks took an early 6-0 lead until the 6th inning where the Lady Vikes exploded for 10 runs only for the Hawks to respond with 12 runs in the bottom half of the innings resulting in an 18-10 loss. Danielle Brklacich was perfect at the plate going 3-3 with 2 RBI's while Marleigh Horrocks went 2-4 with a triple, two RBI's and scored a run along with Gates Leatherwood and Britney Brklacich chipping in two hits in the loss.

After two tough losses the Lady Vikes hosted the Wenatchee Valley Knights and opened up with a spectacular showing defeating the Knights 19-1 courtesy of 20 hits. Britney Brklacich led the way going 4-4 with two RBI's and scoring two runs, Truh Merriman, Arianna Christensen and Olivia McKinnon all had 3 hits along with Marleigh Horrocks and Jocelyn Chagoya added in two hits a piece in the blow out victory.

Game two was a different story that came down to the wire with the Lady Vikes holding on to a 12-11 victory. Arianna Christensen was perfect at the plate going 4-4 while driving in 3 runs, while Truh Merriman and Gates Leatherwood added in 3 hits a piece. The Lady Vikes combined for four home runs in the home sweep.

The Lady Vikes head to Walla Walla, WA on Tuesday May 3rd and then head to North Idaho College on Wednesday May 4th.
