Bio

Reign enters his 5th season as a full time assistant with BBCC Baseball.

Born and raised in Canada, Letkeman moved south of the border in the fall of 2013 to begin his collegiate career at Big Bend. Reign was a right handed pitcher and short stop as a freshman and earned All-Conference honors after a stellar freshman campaign. As as sophomore, Reign transitioned strictly to the mound after committing to Old Dominion University, a Division 1 school in Virginia. After a shortened sophomore season due to injuries, Letkeman was selected in the 2015 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays.

After three seasons with the Rays organization, Letkeman would be shut down and forced to undergo an extensive elbow surgery. While rehabbing from elbow surgery, Reign remained a part of Viking baseball while training for his return to professional baseball. Reign completed one final season of professional baseball in the Frontier League with the Gateway Grizzlies before ultimately hanging the cleats up.

Following his professional baseball career, Letkeman joined the staff full time and completed his Bachelor's Degree in Education while serving as the Athletic Facilities Coordinator at the college.

Reign and his wife Cambree are proud parents to their daughter Peyton Rae as well as their two golden retrievers, Boston and Nash.
