Lady Vikes Take 3 of 4 on the Road

BBCC volleyball capatilized on a long road trip to TVCC by taking 3 out of 4 sets from the Chukars.

 After the longest road trip of the season, the Lady Vikes took on the Treasure Valley Community College Chukars in Ontario, OR. BBCC battled but ultimately dropped the first set by a score of 25-20. After dropping the first set the Lady Vikes responded by taking the final three sets by scores of 25-22, 25-23 and closing out the final set with a score of 25-19. 

 With the offense firing on all cyclinders the Lady Vikes managed to collect a total of 46 kills over the four sets needed to complete the contest. Led by Gabriella Rios with 17 kills and 11 digs, Elli Rodgers contributed 14 kills and 7 digs guiding the BBCC to victory over the Treasure Valley Community College Chukars. In addition, the Lady Vikes shone on the defensive side with Lacy Dalling leading the team with a season high of 29 digs with Mya Buchert, Jacklyn Balfourd and Myah Gallinger approaching double digit digs.

After taking a match on the road, the Lady Vikes plan to continue their success with their next match versus the Blue Mountain Communiity College Timberwolves at home on Wednesday September 29th at the Devries Activity Center in Moses Lake, WA.
