Lady Vikes Basketball Take Three of Four

The Lady Vikes Basketball team hit the road this past weekend competing in four games in four days.

BBCC opened up their weekend on Thursday December 2nd at Shoreline Community College taking on the Dolphins. The Lady Vikes got off to a slow start and struggled from the floor shooting 28% from the field and falling by a score of 73-53. Kaitlyn Callahan and Callie Tolman led the team offensively collecting 15 points a piece, with a majority of their points produced behind the arc combining for 7 three pointers.

After a tough loss to open up the weekend the Lady Vikes flipped the switch for the following three games collecting three straight victories.

Game two was played on Friday December 3rd versus Northwest Indian College where the Lady Vikes captured an eight point victory by a score of 64-56. As Viking fans have become accustom to, Kaitlyn Callahan filled up the stat sheet collecting 23 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Kajsia Fuller chipped in with 11 points and 7 rebounds as well as Callie Tolman contributing 7 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists leading BBCC to victory.

The Lady Vikes then traveled to Skagit Valley Community College to take on the host on Saturday December 4th where the continued their momentum from the previous night by defeating the Skagit Valley by a score of 69-65. Kassidy Alder and Ambra Hacker led BBCC in points with 14, with Hacker collecting a team high of 11 rebounds. Kaitlyn Callahan filled up the stat sheet with a stat line of 12 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals as well as Callie Tolman putting together a line of 7 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal leading the Lady Vikes to their second straight win.

The weekend was wrapped up with BBCC taking on Everett Community College where the Lady Vikes put together one of their better shooting performances by shooting 40% from the field and 42% from behind the arc. As per usual, Kaitlyn Callahan put together a quality showing with 22 points and 8 rebounds on 8-16 shooting and 4 three pointers. Ambra Hacker collected 10 points as well as 3 rebounds and 3 assists, with Mia Nottingham putting up 8 points and leading the Lady Vikes in rebounds with 12 carrying BBCC to their third straight victory.

 

Coming off of three straight victories they Lady Vikes prepare for Saturday December 11th as the take on Northwest Indian College at the Devries Activity Center.
