Runnin' Vikes Bounce Back

The BBCC Men's Basketball team opened up their conference schedule on the road versus Yakima Valley Community College but unfortunately fell by a score of 95-76. The Runnin' Vikes struggled from the floor shooting 37% as a team. The lone stand out for BBCC was none other than Keenan Miller who put together a spectacular performance putting up 32 points on 12-25 shooting along with 4 rebounds, 3 assists and only 1 turnover in 31 minutes on the floor,, while DJ Frye chipped in with 14 points and a team leading 7 rebounds on 6-15 shooting. 

 

After a tough loss, the Runnin' Vikes planned to get back on track as they prepared to take on Treasure Valley Community College on Monday January 17th at the Devries Activity Center. The Vikes bounced back in a big way and dominated the Chukars in nearly every offensive and defensive category. A well rounded 35 point team victory had many contributors. Led by Keenan Miller with 24 points on 10-19 shooting with 4 rebounds and 4 assists, DJ Frye added 19 points on a 8-11 shooting evening with a team leading 9 rebounds along with KaRon Sears chipping in with 18 points, 7 rebounds and a team leading 5 assists allowing the Runnin' Vikes to come out victorious by a score of 99-64. 

 

BBCC Men's Basketball prepare for back to back road games as they take on Columbia Basin College on Wednesday January 19th and Spokane Falls Community College on Saturday January 22nd.
