BBCC Baseball has been playing their best baseball in a very tight playoff race in the Eastern Region. After taking 3 of 4 from Wenatchee Valley, the Vikes planned to punch their ticket to playoffs by taking care of business versus the Treasure Valley Chukars.

The Vikes made the long road trip to Ontario, OR on Wednesday May 4th and came out firing taking both games on the road by scores of 11-4 and 9-2. Dylan Gardner threw 6 innings of 1 run baseball while striking out 7 and picking up the W and Timmy Williams collected his 6th victory of the season tossing 8 innings of two run baseball. Games 3 and 4 were played at home in a wind storm that allowed both offenses to explode. The Vikes took care of business yet again defeating the Chukars by scores of 13-2 and 22-16. The Viking offense came to play this series led by Brandham Ponce who went 11-21 at the plate with a home run, 3 doubles and 14 RBI's, Dalton Miller went 8-14 with a home run, 2 doubles and 6 RBI's, Austin Bunn went 8-17 with 2 home runs and 6 RBI's capped off with Parker Plato going 4-6 in game 4 with 2 home runs, a triple, a double and 5 RBI's carrying the Vikings to a clean sweep.

The Vikes host the Yakima Valley Yaks this Wednesday to determine playoff placement.
