BBCC Buddy Walk

The BBCC Women's Basketball Team's footwork went beyond the court and hoops today when they stepped up to support the Down Syndrome Society of Grant County in their annual Buddy Walk.  The Buddy Walk is a key support and fundraiser to the DSSGC, a non-profit corporation, whose mission is to provide opportunities, education, advocacy, and support to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. The Walk® was established by the National Down Syndrome Society  in 1995, happens in all 50 states and select international locals, raising over $14 million dollars each year. 

The excellence of BBCC was well represented as our Lady Vikes stepped up to be a vital part of one of the main Buddy Walks occurring around our great country to support and advocate for individuals with down sydrome and their families.
